Mona received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Northern British Columbia and has been actively practicing in the fields of public health and communicable diseases for over 14 years. With exceptional clinical expertise, experience in client care, and a passion for skincare and medical aesthetics, Mona founded SKöN Skin + Wellness. Trained and certified in the most advanced technologies, treatments and products, Mona is committed to helping clients look and feel their best, with a goal of achieving subtle yet substantial results. Mona is a proud mother of 2 daughters and when she isn’t in the clinic, you will find her spending quality time with her family, going for long walks, bike riding and sitting pool side.

Medical Director, Certified Nurse Practitioner Injector & Skincare Specialist

Mary Ann comes to SKöN Skin + Wellness with over 27 years in the nursing industry, specializing in trauma, primary and critical care. Mary Ann completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Ottawa in 2000 and served 21 years with the Canadian Armed Forces as a Trauma/Critical Care Nursing Officer. She completed her Masters of Nursing/Nurse Practitioner program in 2018 and has worked in remote communities in Nuvavut and around the BC Interior since. As clinic Medical Director she is trained and certified in neuromodulators including Dysport and Botox. She is also trained on fillers. Mary Ann is committed to excellence in all avenues of her career and believes in providing the highest quality of care to her clients, helping them feel like the very best version of themselves.

Outside of work, you’ll often find Mary Ann out on her paddle board, scuba diving or hiking the local trails.

Duane prides himself in caring for his clients. Trained and certified in the most advanced skin care technologies and treatments devices, Duane is dedicated in helping his clients at SKöN Skin + Wellness achieve their most radiant, youthful, and natural appearance possible. Having had his own skin “issues” Duane knows what it means to boost one’s confidence through optimal skincare and is committed with helping his clients achieve their skin goals. When not behind a treatment chair, you will find Duane focussing on clinic operations and development, ensuring SKöN Skin + Wellness continues to provide the highest level of skincare excellence their clients deserve.

Outside the clinic you will typically find Duane spending time with his wife and 2 beautiful daughters, out on his bike, or working on a side project at home.
